about Block Print Fabric
Block printing is a traditional dyeing technique where craftspeople hand-apply carved wooden blocks one by one. This creates subtle variations in color and pattern—the unique character of handmade work.
Because block print fabrics use natural dyes and pigments, color fading occurs with washing. The first wash is especially prone to color loss, so wash separately from other garments. Air dry in the shade after washing, and use neutral detergent. Avoid contact with white items when damp, as color transfer may occur.
These fabrics require a bit of care, but with gentle attention, they'll become cherished pieces you wear for years.

All block print products are handmade. Since they are not mass-produced, seams may vary slightly—but these can be adjusted. We hope you'll cherish them for years to come. Every product on our site can be custom ordered. If you'd like something made with a fabric you love, please get in touch.
Our vintage collection is sourced primarily from Europe. We carefully select each piece, so most are in relatively good condition. Some items are remade pieces—we repurpose precious embroidery scraps and vintage fabrics, believing our generation has a role in passing them forward to the next.

We operate online only—there is no physical store. Closures for sourcing and restocking are irregular, so follow us on social media for updates.
We minimize packaging materials to reduce environmental impact and waste. Invoices and receipts are not included by default, but please note your request in the cart notes if needed.
